Responsibilities/duties: Instruction, mentoring, & advising to undergraduate and graduate students (PhD & Masters) within the Exercise Science department. Additional responsibilities include external program validation for exercise science courses at partner institutions. Curriculum and instruction includes undergraduate and post graduate courses in Exercise Physiology, Environmental Physiology, Fitness Training Principles, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Exercise Biochemistry & Advanced Laboratory Skills.
- 2004 – 2006. Assistant Professor – Exercise Science, Brooklyn College, Brooklyn, New York.
Responsibilities/duties: Instruction, mentoring, & advising to degree students with a concentration in Exercise Science. Additional responsibilities included external curriculum and program evaluation through ACSM and the development of a community-based stress testing program. Curriculum and instruction included Physiology of Exercise, Human Physiology & Human Anatomy. - 2004 – 2006. Nuclear Stress Testing & Research Associate – Division of Nuclear Cardiology, New York Methodist Hospital, Brooklyn, New York.
Stress Testing Responsibilities/duties: Administered and managed exercise and pharmacological (dobutamine and dipyridamole) stress tests and ECG interpretation.
Research Associate Responsibilities/duties: Conducted and managed research agenda within the nuclear cardiology unit. Projects included ECG interpretation and females, BNP levels and correlation with post-op diagnosis & the association between prolonged QRS duration and pacemakers.
